You’ve probably heard of Linux, an operating system just like Mac OSX, and Windows XP. There is something very special about this operating system though. It is free open source software that anyone can download. Linux is cheaper, faster, safer, and easier to run. The hardest part is downloading and installing it. You might not know how to choose a ‘Linux Distro” and then download the ISO and burn it to the disk but that’s what we’re here to help you with.  One of the best ‘newbie guide’ i’ve found is here on MakeUseOf.com.  More linux information to come soon.
